Design of the 14,180 sf office corporate headquarters for Honma Golf North America. Honma Golf is the manufacturer of premium golf clubs using Japanese craftmanship. The facility is located within an innovative 44,000 square foot, two building “Work, Eat, Play”, amenity-driven retail development known as “lift” in Carlsbad, Ca.
The office suite is designed to provide an open, collaborative work environment where the south facing glazing is constructed using vertical bi-folding window walls to allow employees to take advantage of the interior to exterior connectivity from the open offices, conference rooms and break room. The window walls open to outdoor conferencing, amenities and retail while taking full advantage of Southern California’s mild climate. The neutral color palette and finishes package was developed to pay homage to the Japanese origin of the company. Honma House, the retail and club fitting division, is located within the suite but has it’s own entry and street presence.
